NEW YEARS EVE :)

This is New Years Eve 12:00:01 when the bridge exploded, such an amazin atmosphere, everyone going mad!!!!

>>> 2006 <<<

Got up for 9am, Me and Dan went to Coles to buy some food for the day as BYO was not allowed anywhere were you could view the fireworks.Me, Dan, Bij and Cii all jumped in a taxi and headed for the botanical gardens, but went we got out of the taxi and he driven off, we decided we didnt actually wana be there, so we walked to the nearest place were we could catch a taxi from. We then headed to Mre Macquires Point, was so hot walking to were we finally sat down, had a wicked view of the bridge and the opera house, over Farm Cove under the shade of the massive tree. Sat reading Angles and Demons, although I kept fallin asleep cause it was so hot....still had 9 hours to go till . Took loads of pics throught the day. Me and Dan went and sat with some people from the hostel, Jo, Kirstry and some others, we stayed with them for the 9:00pm fireworks (that was the kids show, they launch fireworks over the opera house and off the water) lasted for about 15mins, in which time, Dan ran for the bog, Jo and Kirsty did one to the wine queue, so I lost every1 in the confusion, I had a quick look through the queues but couldnt see anyone so I headed back to were Bij and the other were sitting, sat with him and the liverpuddlian girls, Katie, Ali, Julie...they were all off to Tank after the 12 oclock fireworks, Hed Kandi was headlinin there, looked amazin. Just before midnight me me Bij and Audra went down to sit were Dan and the others were, as it was an awsome view point, had to give Bij a piggee back down this flight of about 200 steps, was actually really hard, goin down, legs started shaking the last 10 or so steps!!!

Stood with Jo and waitin for the firworks, there wasnt a moment of silence, boast in Farm cove were beep there horns and flasinh there lights, to which every1 was cheerin, then the countdown began on the north tower of the bridge, every1 counted down with it, then this light raced across and around the bridge, and then it exploded, watched til the end of the show, then went over to Dan and Bij, for a Big group hug to celebrate the new years, was wicked sharin it with the lads, there all sound as.

We sat and waited for the 25,000 people to disperse abit so that Bij could get out easier with his broken foot. Dan piggee backed him up the stairs and down the road abit, then all I saw was the pair of them hit the deck, Dan was tryin to put Bij down and they fell, he hit his foot and he really wernt too happy, walked back through Hyde Park, past Archibold fountain, but it wasnt on, loads of police, said to be 12,000 cops in the city that night (probably just an excuse for them to watch the fireworks). It took us well over an hour and a half to walk bk to the hostel, normally 20mins walk. Got back had a first beer of 2006 off Bob, he was also in 601, Me and Jo lay in the Tv room , till about 430, 5am

Sydney : Day to Day (Working)

Had a pretty similar day to to yesterday.

Was up at 5am though today, felt pretty sick, although I know it it was just tierdness cus id had a shit nites sleep (my bed is the worst bed on the face of the earth...id rather sleep on the floor than that bed), at 2am went Dan rolled in, he was pissed up and got into my bed (while I was in it) I sweared and shouted at him somet cronic, buy he fell asleep instantly, so I got up and got into his bed....fell asleep in seconds, his matress must be brand new, so comfy :)

Its kind of wiered walkin through the streets of Sydney (I imagine any massive city) with no one on them but you, i mean you get so used to walkin through the streets, dodging people left, right and center just to get anywhere, and you cant see the street ahead...just people, and then wen your then only 1 you actually realise the street you normally walk up are hills...listened to hed kandi world series, no i wasnt, i listened to oasis - be here now album, got to the site just after 730, worked staright through till 1pm, bar mornin tea break at 10. Finished there, we all wished each other a happy new and stuff, and I got on my way bk to the city, stopped off and called home completely forgeting that 1pm here is 2am in UK but my mom didnt mind :)

Got bk, showered up and sorted out my underwater housing for my camera, got it sorted, read some more of my book, then fell asleep till 6ish, me and Dan went to woolies and brought 2 eskies in prepartion for 2moro, also brought a massive bag of malteesers, scoffed the lot.

That nite me, Dan, Bij and Cii went for a chinese in Chinatown (ironically) wasnt great by any means, but it only cost 15 bucks.

That was about it for that day :P

Sydney : Day to Day (First Day at Work)

Got woken up at 530am by Dan fumbling around tryin to get ready for his first day at work, literally fell straight back to sleep though.

Got up and got some Museli down me and headed for Central Station, had to catch a train to were this job interview was (its was out at Paramatta) as I was standing in the queue for tickets and my phone started ringing...Its was Dennis, he had a job for me, over in north Sydney (that's on the other side of the harbor bridge to me) 95 union street. Quickly headed back to the hostel and changed into my work gear, and headed to Dymocks Building, needed to buy some work boots (as I didn't have any) then I needed to buy some thicks socks....Finally got on the way to Wynyard train station, these trains run to the north shore....Trains canceled for 2days!!! Great, but they were runnin a free bus service for the inconvenience, got off the bus in North Sydney and started to look for the street my direction began from, asked a couple of people...They didn't have a clue, then asked this courier chap, he got his A-Z out and he showed me were I had to go. Just before I got the job I changed into my boots and got rid of the evidence that they were brand new (not that the shininess of them gave it away) found the job and all you could hear was jackhammers and this generator, I walked in and saw this old guy Ron, he started talkin to me, to be fair I didn't hear a word he said, but I caught the gist of what he was askin from what he was pointin at, he gave me some ear defenders and away I went. These 2 guys on Jackhammers were excavating this area of sandstone about 30meters by 15, 1.5 meters deep (Ron told me that there was about 40 tones of sandstone there) and I was shifting what they bust up to this other area were a bobcat was moving it to a flatbed....I was soaked through in about 10minutes, sweat was pouring off me!!! It was mid 30's outside and it felt about twice that under this building despite the industrial fan extracting heat. Wasn't long before a got my first couple of blisters, but to be honest you didn't really have time to think about flimsy blisters, lunch came round in no time, went for a king burger round at the local burger place, then back to the site, had a chat with the blokes and then we got bk to it. By the end of the day, they most of the Jack hammerin out of the way, we had a quick tidy up, and then I was offski's got back to the bus stop just in time, infact I was the last person they let on so I had to stand at the front, not that I was in any mood for standing, but it ment I was first off the bus, had rubbed a sore into the back of each of my feet from my new boots. Got off the bus on York Street and Margaret, got back got cleaned up and headed to Scruffies for a Steaka and beer with the lads, then we headed to Paddy Maguire's (not sure of the spelling???) to have a beer with this lad who's birthday it was.

Anyway didn't do much that nite, bit of readin, still living in skintville lol.

speak soon :)

Sydney: Day to Day (Parcel from England arrives today)

Today the Irish couple moved out of 601 so we quickly switched the room around to how things were in 701, plus i got bottom bunk :)

Again headed to Dymocks Building in search of Jobs, open today!!! Me and Dan got interview with this labour hire company 2moro, he's at 10 and mines at 11. Took a walk over onto York Street to look for this place i saw a job advertised....after searchin around the building for abit, found they had moved offices to Brisbane!!!! Anyway, came across this shop called Storm, they sell Surf, Ski and Diving Gear, they had a 50% off Sale (The shops out here have from xmas to NYE sales, not like us) We both brought some snorkelling gear, just masks and snorkells, walked down to circular quay and rocks area, we stood and watched this street performer juggle fire whilst lyin on a bed of nails (about a foot by a foot) 10 ft in the air. Got down to the Opera house and Dan decided he was gonna go for a run around the botanical gardens...must be mad, such a hot and sticky day. I walked back to the through Hyde Park past St.Marys Church...nearly forgot, I brought some new sunnies off a guy selling um on the street.

Back at the hostel I got roped into writing on the Chalk board (this is an advertismant board used by the hostel) Bijan's missus asked me to do it, as apparently she's not creative enough, drew some quality letter and fireworks, back in the room, Dan was already back, I was sittin on the floor in my boxer's and I tried my snorkel gear on, and then this new bird came into the room...so embarassing!!!

Had same dinner as last nite, then went to pick my parcel up that had been sent from the UK to Arrawarra, it had been sent down to Sydney on an OZ experience bus that went throught the surf camps. Got it back to hostel and ripper her open :) like xmas day had come late...got my card from my family, speaker for my ipod, digital camera, my underwater camera housing and a box of malteesers :D although they had melted abit i left them infront of the air con to cool down.

Called Dennis for some work and he said he'd call me back, so I told Dan to phone him, sounds like he's got work....Dennis never got bk to me, gave Dan the Job instead....opened my big mouth too soon!!!!

Went to Scruffy's then got some beers and went round Dans (different Dan) appartment at Mirrimar, the building next to footprints, Ciiran and Bij have arranged to stay here in Dans room, as him and his missus are moving on. There is a spare room, so gonna look in to it, but low cash funds = no apartment for me :)

Sydney: Day to Day

Got up pretty late today 1045, read some of Angels and Demons before crawlin out of bed. As we were leaving the hostel we spoke to Audra and asked her if there were any free rooms we could switch too, that wernt booked over new years, 601 is free, so we quickly swapped all our gear round from 701 to 601, then Me and Dan went to Dymocks Building (this is the place were you go to look for work if your a traveller) and as luck would have it the place was shut. So went into the book shop next door ironically called "Dymocks Book Shop" brought me a leather bound plain book for people i meet to sign, kinda a physically memory of my travels, gets abit the same old, collecting email address'. Droped in woolies on the way back, got some tucka and headed bk to the hostel.

Later that day Me and Dan went out with Ciiran and Ricardo (German dude) to Darling Harbour to see if we could get tickets to Home Bar NYE...again no luck 2500 tickets sold, we stayed there for a few beers, then went looking round the shops, to pricey for me, livin on skint street. The shopping was p'in me off abit and Dan too, so we headed back to the hostel via the bottle shop and made dinner (Potatoes, Cheese and Beans)....stuffed too bits.

Went to the Cinema to see Fun with Dick and Jane...not ace but some funny bits, checked my emails and headed back to footprints, stayed up and chatted with the irish couple in my room.

ps Wen we switched room, Dan called shotgun on Lower bunk....aaaarrrgggghhhh I hate top, honest its shit, plus the mattress was a killer, springs pokin out of it an all sort.....shotgun rules though!!!!

Christmas Day :)

Woke up fairly late about 10:30am, felt like id been punished in the night by the beerdevil, I definatly didnt feel that bad when I went to sleep (does anyone know what exactly happens in them few hours while your asleep...does someone come and give you a few digs??? Im sure if you stayed awake you wouldnt feel that bad?!?!?!)

We got up and I watched Dan open he Crissy prezzys, he's been carried them around for the last 2months!!!

After the presents we got ready, I went and got some breaky down me, watched abit of Jack Frost the movie, went back upstairs to get ready. Dan got Bij ready and we headed off to catch the bus to CooJee, we were goin the some people we knows house in Randwick...were we had the bbq earlier in the week. When we got there we had to make a trip to the petrol station to get some ice so we cud chill the beers in the bath (about a good mile away down hills, no biggee it was only 35 degrees!!!! not a cloud insight) we all got back sweatin to bits....but mission accomplished "beers could be chilled" all we had to do was wait 30mins for them to get chilled....nuthin like bein kicked when your down hey?!?!? finally got a cold beer down my neck :)

Got the Snapper out of the Ice box and decided I cudnt chop his head off, made me sick lookin at him, so Dan G chopped his boat off and I chopped the lemons and spices to put inside him, then I wrapped him snugg as a bug in some foil and sent him for bbq'in!!!! 30mins later me and Dan mong'ed him, well tastey :) Dan cooked a few burger and then the Taxi had arrived that was takin us to Bondi...asked the taxi the usual questions, "bin busy???....what time you on till???" he really didnt get it! Also asked him if he'd ever scrapped ice from the windscreen of his car....he looked at us very gone out, he had know idea what we were talkin about. Arrived at Bondi and even from the road the beach looked rammoed.....ACE!!!!!!!

We got down to the Pavilion were all the action was takin place (plus we'd also paid for tickets to get in) Dan saw this ladder game, were if you can climb to the top of the spinny ladder without fallin off, you win 50 bucks, he was sayin how easy it was, could he do it??? put it like this his wallet wernt 50 bucks heavier at the end. We then went lookin for Ciiran and his mates on the beach, and then found out he wasnt on the beach, and was on the Pavilion, so off to the Pavilion we went, sounded mint, could here the choons from were we got out the taxi rite up the other end of Bondi. Got in and pretty much found them straight away. It was just before 6 so we headed up to the balcony on the front of the Pavilion that over looked Bondi, got a smirnoff black can 8bucks50!!! chilled for a min and then headed to were Judge Jules was playin, he was rocked the joint we some heavy tunes, we watched from this other balcony for abit and then decided to go and get in the thick of it, got dancin straight away...Dan then dissapeared for an hour, was ok, partied on for abit with some people in the crowd, then went to find him....turns out he'd been for a shower, crazy lad!!! stayed for abit longer, bumped into Ricardo, Sarah and Bex from Fraser Island trip.

By this time I was hank, so swung past maccas and picked up a quarter pounder meal....it was the driest burger id ever tasted, but I was too hungry to take it back, as we head to the bus stops we came across this night market, and Dan brought himself some bits and bobs. The bus was chocker block on the way back to the city, sayin that alot of people got off at Bondi Junction (Kind of buss station) just as we were comin to our stop Dan had found a stop button under the foldaway seat (addmittidly it looked like one of the stop bell ringer buttons) he hit it this siren started blarin in the bus, he face was a picture of "oh shit what have i done!?!?!?" its was like a kill switch for the bus, but it rolled to our stop and the driver had restarted the engine before we even got of the bus....so funny!!

Got back and decided to go make some phones calls, nearly every phone booth in the city had a queue for it, luckily I found a shady phone that was free, I did get cut off about 5 times and got through to a couple of people who i didnt know, through crossed lines, and people I wanted to speak to said that they had had foriegners on the line moments before...so hectic, but I got to talk with my big sis on Christmas Day :) she was cooking crimbo dinner bless her, I'm sure she was fine!

Went back to hostel I litrally fell asleep as soon as my head hit the pillow, I was rubber ducked!

Hope you all had a wicked Christmas Day :) you all need to experience hot Christmas....soooo much better than cold ones, and yes it did feel christmassy, so all the cold does it make you feel cold and shit, you can do so much more when the weather is ace, no rappin up in 10million layers...shorts and thats it!!!

Take care all of you :)

Fish Markets and Partyin Crissy Eve Side Bar

Got up pretty late today, had breaky, called tobes and found out that my stuff from the UK had arrived and he's sending it on the next oz bus heading south, thats monday so shud have the gear monday nite, cant wait :)

Finished the Da Vinci Code off, never thought it would have ended the way it did, non the less a quality read, gonna start Angles and Demons next....the prequle.

We went to the Sydney Fish Markets, with Dan, Bij and the Coojee boys, got the tram over to the fish markets, it cost 5.5 return. Me and Dan went halves on a half a kilo of prawns and a massive Snapper fish. The place kind of took your breath away, in the way that it made you wana puke, but you slowly got used to it. Total bill 22 bucks, got it all wrapped and iced in a polystyrene box. We caught the tram back, gave the fish and stuff the Coojee boys. The plan is to go to there house in the morning/early sarvo and and have a bbq and beers, get the bus..or some means of transport to Bondi and then go party on the beach all day:)

That afternoon, I went back to 701 (my room at footprints) and Dan and Ciiran were there with a crate of beers, so I offered my help to try and get them out of the road, we sat around chattin and drinkin, Ciiran pulled the ripcord pretty early on and went for a power-hour, me and Dan stuck with it and played some texas-holdem poker for abit, before we knew it, it was 8 or 9 oclock, so I chucked me glad rags on, a good helpin of Happy (Boner you know its the shit!!!) and we all went to Side Bar, carrieed on with the drinkin...ace :) Chloe was in there from Arrawarra (she had got a lift down with Dan (one of the owners of mojo) and she's would be flying back monday morning) we had a few drinks with her, as I was chattin to her, this girl taps me on the shoulder and at first I thought..."looks familiar?" and she said "are you Rich's mate from Nuneaton?" and then I Knew who she was, she worked with Rich at the Attlebourgh Arms (Bex you know who you are!!!)...small small world, had a chat with her for abit, then bumped into Debbie R from Nuneaton.......and then I recognised this bird from Brum, so I just went over and asked her if she went out round the Arcadian in Brum and to Hed Kandi at Bambu, she was like "I go out there every week".... so met loads of familiar people from the Midlands, I mean what are the chances???? Throughout the nite bumped into lots of people still, off the surf camp, was an ace nite, caught a couple of birds under the invisiable mistletoe! pretty much stayed to the death with Ciiran, Dan baled out abit earlier, went for pizza after at about 4am then to bed!!!

Bondi Beach

Went to Bondi Beach today and spent fair few hours just sunbathing, went in the sea for abit, me and Dan carried Bij into the sea (this is cos bij has broke his heel, he jumped off the cliff's at Coojee and missjudged how deep it was, he landed in shallow water, hence the broken heel)
Me and Dan did some body surfin, fairly good waves for body surfin, could ride them all the way up the beach, but absolute pony for surfin on!

Had maccas for lunch (McOz) and mud cake (Worst one i've tasted so far in OZ).

I got fairly sun burnt, unintentional, put sun cream on all over but obviously not enough.
Got back had abit of lie down, went out fairly late, bout 11:45 cause was playing pool in the hostel with some people, headed straight to side bar, met up with the lads and some of the people off the surf camp that were out.

Bout 1am me and Dan went bk to footprints and played pool for abit before callin it a day.

Cresent Head and Arrawarra cont.

....offered us Jobs at a Surf camp at Arrawarra, with was about 3 hours north, we had a chat and decided, it was too much of a conincidence to turn it down, so we jumped at the chance.

We didnt pay for the next nite accomodation, we worked for it instead :) that day me and Nik got more bunk beds from storage as we had over 50 people to accomodate, and I shifted all of mine and Chole's gear over to "the office" basically HQ, I borrowed a swag and that nite I slept on the floor. Well we got the camp ready and as the the Big red bus (the ASA 5 day tour) turned up the heavens opened, great, we all got soaked gettin everyone's stuff off the bus, it wasnt long and the sun was back out in force...cant remeber if we went for a surf that sarvo or not??? but that nite we all eat and as tradition has it, everyone has to play a game to decide who does the dishes and all the stuff used to make dinner, with over 50 people it was definatly the clothes line game....i hear you askin yourself "what the hell is this???" basically everyone is split into teams and in those teams you have make the longest line out of all clothes you and your team members have one however if you take all of your clothes off you can use your body in the line. that nite the staff line oblitorated every other line by miles, staff dont usually participate unless its the clothes line :)

Next day we left with the OZ Experience bus for Arrawarra, the bus driver Simon we wud get to know quite well as they pass through the surf camps every 3 to 5 days with new groups of people. En route we stopped off at The Water Tank lookout in Cresent, this is a beautiful lookout, you can see along the north and south coast as far as the eye can see, so amazing. after that we hit the road and heading for the Legends Surf Museum this is a surf museum owned by Scott Dillon, he is and Australian surfing legend, he was one of the original and first people to make surf boards (and later we get to spend more time with Scott, such a cool dude, 77 and surfs everyday) anyway we watched Euro Trip to on the journey, has its funny bits but the majority of the film is pretty pants, just before we got to Scotts we stopped off at the Big Banana at Coffs Harbour, this is much like the giant prawn at Banilla.

sorry I have been piss balling about lookin at stuff on the net, aswell as typing this up, I'll carry on with this 2moro.

email me with what you lot are up to and stuff, it'd be nice to hear from you.

speak soon.

Byron Bay, Cresent Head and Arrawarra

Im so sorry i havnt blogged in over a month, ive just bin a lazy ass!!! well the last month in a couple of lines is, after noosa I went to Byron Bay then I went to a place called Cresent Head, then I travelled back up the coast to a place called Arrawarra and now im bakc in Sydney but lets rewind to leaving noosa....

Leaving Noosa for Byron >>>>>Left Noosa with Brad and Jim and we headed to Byron Bay, it was so ironic we just crossed the border from Queensland (The Sunshine State) to NSW it just went from super sunny to super dark and horrible, and pretty soon the rain came with the dark clouds.

When we arrived in Byron, guess what, it was raning, ACE!!!! just what I wanted, saying that, it wasnt that terrible, you didnt need to put a coat on, but your feet got drentched, flip flops dnt mind a abit of water though. We made our way to the hostel called Aquarius, Ben met us outside as he knew we were comin, looked ok on first imprssions, but not fantabulous, but looking bk im sure that because it was raining and i'd nearly forgoten what rain looked like :) checked into room 25 not with Brad and Jimbo becuase they had pre-booked it, they were in 24, no biggee, went with Ben to see Daryll, we had a good old chat, caught up abit and before we knew it, it was 7:00PM (I later learnt Aquarius stops at 7 and "everyone" watched the simpsons, so we raced down to the bar to get good seats, got a few beers inside me, then practically straight after the simpsons, we we playing this drinkin game upstairs called Kings Cup (some places call it Circle of Fire or Ring of Fire) either way, I had to remove myself from the game after an hour, I was trollied to bits!!! went and chucked what looked like a clean top on (on closer inspection the day after it was filthy) went to catch everyone up at the this bar Coco Mangos, however they wernt there but I got chattin to some people and was with them for about 45mins before Daryll came and found me, telling me they were at another bar called the Beach Resort, so went there and then to a place called Cheeky Monkeys.....basically the Woolshed of the south :) was pretty good, but full of schoolies (not as good as you mite think, they are all so immature, they are not like 18 year old english girls, this lot have the mental age of 15 year olds) had enough of Cheekys so made my way back past the 24 hours pie shop...(SCFP you would love this place, pies of every type available 24 hours a day!!!!) best pies ive ever tasted.

This was pretty much the same for the next couple of days, however I did buy a new digital camera check out this website if you wana see it ( http://www.kyoceraimaging.com/product.asp?itemnum=300390) pretty cool hey :) got it reduced from 600 bucks to 349. Also sent my water damaged camera home that day (would later find out that when it got home, it had dried out and was working fully!!)

Booked my surfin lesson that I had already paid for so it was just a case of booking myself on at a convienient time, wen out and brought myself a rash vest, save gettin a rash off the board.

Went with Mojo Surf (who would in just over a weeks time be my new employer), and to be honest I wasnt overly impressed with the guy running the tour, didnt introduce himself and and just turned the stereo rite up, so much that we cudnt even talk amongst ourselves in the bus, so we cudnt even introduce oursleves to each other, and the lesson wasnt much cop either, he gave us a very quick breif and then it was out to the sea and I think we all did really well considering how much tuition we recieved, anyway it started raining, then it started gettin stormy as hell and the lesson was cut short, only in the sea for about an hour, again radio on until we got back.....poo!!! from this impression I had decided already that I wasnt even gonna attend my second lesson.

Next day, I went off for a walk to the light house in Byron with me new camera to get some cool snaps, got abit lost en route so cut down on beach and bumped into 2 lads from my room, Gareth and Rob, we all decided to walk to the lighthouse along the beach, was an absolute killer in the blaring sunshine, but we made it, was wicked views but none of us could be really bothered to walk down as it took about an hour or so to get there, as we started walking back down the road way trying to hitch a lift and this guy pulled over (proper surfer dude), and we all jumped in (now at first he seemed like a con man) he started askin us if we were into surfin etc and if we'd like to surf that afternoon, all abit apprehensive, but he seemd genuin so me and Rob decied we go, after all he was given us a lift back. About 2hours later a bus turned up and picked us up, much more personal than the other tour, we went over to Lenox Head, this is about 15k south of Byron, waves were wicked and the guy that took us was really helpful and we were in the water for a 4 and a half hours, knackered, went for a quick swim in the tea-tree lake just off the coast to wash the salt water off, then back to Byron. Went out with some of the guys off the surf lesson, to the northern, had this massive burger. Went out again that night. Next day my and Chloe (a girl a met in Noosa) went to the Beach and becuase it was windy and shit, we chucked our stuff back in the hostel and went for drinks and pool at the northern. Here Chloe bumped into a mate of her from South East Asia, anyways we were all playin pool and and we had enough so we went and sat at this table in the bar area, they both needed to toilet so I told them that Id id gaurd the table while they were gone, as this was happening it was raining outside and I clocked this guy come through the doors at the othher end of the bar and for some reason he came over to me and said "This is one of the best tables in this bar, you should gaurd it" immediatly I was spooked out cus I had only just said that, and there was no way he cud have heard me, I told him this and he responded "Im a messenger, I dont beleive the weather brought me in here to speak with you" I was gettin abit creeped out by this guy now, anyway Chloe and her mate had come back now, we were all chattin about the cricket on the tv, and this guy Wolf told me he was into numerology, and he asked me if I wanted my numeroligical chart done, I was like how much is it gonna cost, he said nuthing, he said he needed to tell me something.....by now i was no longer spooked, just god damd intrigued at what he had to say, I gave him my DOB and first name, he did a few calculations and started to tell me loads of stuff about me that he just cudnt have know unless he was me, my jaw dropped in amazment, he carried on for about 40 minutes, I was truely amazed at everything this guy had to say to me, he did everyones at the table and they too were eqaully blown away with what he said to them. about 2 hours later, he upped and left, leaving us all in a state of awe, and we all arranged to go out that nite. That nite wen were out I found out that Chloe and her mate she was traveling with were starting to clash a little bit, so I said to Chloe if she wanted to come to Cresent Head with me for 2 days and then onto Sydney, just to give them a break from each other, she thought about it for abit and decided to come along. So the next day we left for Cresent Head (The Greyhound actually dropped us off at a place called Kempsey....which it in the middle of nowhere, by that I mean about 25/30k from Cresent, so as there was 2 of us we decided to try and hitch a life from the petrol station, after a couple of knock backs these 2 guys were goin our way and said they could drop us at the Cresent Head turn off, they were a pair of Kangeroo Hunters, to look at them, they looked like beasts, one of them had an eye with no colour or pupil, but they were really nice chaps, gave us loads of advice, within a minute of them droppin us off, a chap with his son picked us up and they dropped us in Cresent (now it only dawned on me when we got to Creso that it was like a mini town and it all seemed so much more difficult to Find Nik, (Nik is a mate from back home and he works on a surf camp in Cresent Head) the last contact I had with him was an email telling me just that he was in Creso, no address, so we asked around a few places, and then we came to this club, like a workin mans clubs joint and the lady behind the desk thought she knew who Nik was and this guy offered to drive us to were she thought he worked, grabbed a few beers and we headed off, Got to creso and wondered through the site and sure enough there he was, as shocked to see me as I was him (it turned out that the lady didnt know Nik and had him confused with someone else, so luck got us there) we paid for a 2 nites accomodation, food and surf board hire, went surfin with the gang and and on the second day Kimo, one of the owners of the surf camp came up to me and Chloe and offered us Jobs at a Surf camp at Arrawarra, with was about 3 hours north, we had a chat and decided, it was too much of a conincidence to turn it down, so we jumped at the chance.
